Privacy Policy & Browser LocalStorage Inspector

Direct Summary: Dalton's Field Manual requires no user account, collects no personal identity information, and stores your achievement checklist and Amber calculator state exclusively inside your browser's local storage (window.localStorage).

1. LocalStorage Keys Used on This Site

You can inspect or wipe your locally stored progress at any time using the interactive inspector below:

• tl_ach_v1 — Stores an array of checked Steam achievement API keys (e.g., ["ACH_Welcome"]).
• tl_amber_v1 — Stores your current Amber Sample count (0 to 16) for the New Game Plus calculator.
• tl_ch2_notes_v1 — Stores an array of checked Chapter 2 note IDs (1 to 24).
• tl_paleopals_v1 — Stores checked Paleo Pals talk-box IDs (benji, alistair, stephanie, dennis).

2. Third-Party Advertising & Sponsored Units

To support hosting and ongoing patch telemetry updates, primary guide pages display a clearly labeled native banner slot powered by third-party advertising networks (such as Adsterra). Third-party ad scripts may use standard browser cookies or network request headers to deliver and measure non-intrusive native ads. These scripts never have access to your local achievement or collectible progress keys.
